Northeast Offroad Vu Linh to Ha Noi 5 days

During our 42-kilometer ride along the levee, we will pass many small villages between vast green paddies and gardens. Families of buffaloes and cows will be roaming about. Lastly, we will visit Thac Ba Lake.

We'll start our day at the beautiful Vu Linh location, cross a stream, and head towards Yen The on Route 170. After 30-40 minutes, we'll reach the stunning O Do Fall waterfall in Yen Bai province. We'll stop for a quick coffee break at Cam Nham Fork and continue our journey along Thac Ba lakeside to enjoy the sightseeing. We'll soon reach Luc Yen town, renowned for its gemstones, surrounded by limestone and marble mountains, Thac Ba Lake, and the Chay River. We'll take a lunch break here.

Today we ride up to Dong Van. Dong Van Stone Plateau is Ha Giang's most popular tourist attraction, and continue our journey to Sung La Valley, considered the most beautiful destination in Dong Van. We'll have the chance to admire the natural beauty of Ha Giang by visiting famous landmarks such as Pao's House, Lo Lo's House, Heaven Gate, Rocky Plateau, The House of Vuong Family, and Ma Pi Leng Pass.. We'll stop in Meo Vac for dinner and spend the night there.

Our crew bid farewell to Meo Vac, and today, we are heading up to Ba Be Lake. We riding for 32 km along the sealed road. Then, we went directly to the bumpy trail crossing the jungles, considered the best part of today's ride. We will arrive in Ba Be in the afternoon, have dinner, and stay overnight here.

Ba Be Lake is one of Vietnam's most significant natural freshwater lakes and ranks among the world's 100 most prominent lakes. It is located in Ba Be National Park and has a lifespan of over 200 million years. The lake was formed due to natural tectonic movements and is situated on limestone mountains, with a surface area of about 5 million cubic meters and a thickness of more than 30 meters. After visiting the lake, we will ride to Hanoi and end the tour.
