For the more experienced, we can ride a single sandy track through the jungle to jump onto red dirt if the group gets tired of Kompong Sralao on the Lao border. Alternatively, there is a slightly more straightforward approach to Stung Treng through jungle trails and red dirt. We'll ferry across the Mekong to reach the steep hill tribe territories.
